Yarra Crime Investigation Unit detectives are appealing for dashcam footage after a hit-and-run collision in East Melbourne earlier this week.
Police understand a stolen black Mercedes-Benz GLE350 collided with a black Mazda 2 at the intersection of Hoddle and Freeman streets about 9pm on Wednesday, July 23.
The incident caused another collision involving a blue Hyundai i30 and a white Volkswagen T-Cross.
The male driver of the Hyundai and the female driver of the Volkswagen were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The occupants of the Mercedes fled the scene on foot before emergency services arrived.
Police are asking anyone who was driving in the area at the time of the collision to check their dashcam.
Investigations are ongoing into the circumstances of the crash. Two arrests have been made at this stage.
The Mercedes was stolen from Elle Close in Bundoora on Saturday, July 19.
