CLYDE, VIC. — Police last night arrested a man following an alleged fatal stabbing yesterday afternoon.
It is alleged two men were involved in an altercation at a property on Carrera Crescent, before one of them was stabbed about 3.30pm.
The victim left the scene in a vehicle, which was then involved in a collision on Clyde-Five Ways Road.
He was subsequently airlifted to hospital with life-threatening injuries, where he later died.
Police arrested a 27-year-old man on Carrera Crescent.
He was taken into custody to be interviewed.
Investigations are ongoing into the circumstances of the incident.
Homicide Squad detectives attended the scene.
Police are not looking for anyone else in relation to the stabbing at this stage.
