Fire Rescue Victoria (FRV) firefighters responded to a house fire in Valentine Grove, Armadale yesterday afternoon following several calls to Triple Zero (000) around 4pm.
Crews arrived on the scene within seven minutes to find smoke and flames issuing from the roof of the weatherboard house, so the response was escalated.
Crews quickly donned breathing apparatus and began attacking the fire whilst preventing the fire from spreading to adjoining properties.

All occupants were evacuated safely, however, were assessed by Ambulance Victoria.
The fire was deemed under control by 4:56pm.
In total about 10 appliances and 30 firefighters responded.
The cause of the fire is not yet known.
It will be investigated by FRV specialists.
