LALOR, VIC. — Fire Rescue Victoria (FRV) crews responded to several calls of a house fire in Lalor yesterday morning.
Crews arrived at the Avondale Road scene at 6am, within four minutes, to find a single-storey brick house fully involved in fire. The response was escalated.

FRV crews donned breathing apparatus and began attacking the fire internally while preventing any spread to adjoining properties.
A primary search was conducted in most of the house; however, it was not possible at the rear due to roof collapse.
No one has been found at this stage. A comprehensive search will be conducted when safe.
The fire was deemed under control by 6.26am yesterday.
The cause of the fire is being investigated by FRV specialists.
