ATTWOOD, VIC. — Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives have charged a man following a fatal collision in Attwood on Tuesday.
Police understand a car and a bicycle collided on Mickleham Road, approaching the intersection with Bateman Street, shortly before 7pm on Tuesday, October 7.
Sadly the cyclist, a 53-year-old Attwood man, died at the scene.
Yesterday, the 55-year-old Greenvale man was charged with dangerous driving causing death.
He appeared in Melbourne Magistrates’ Court today in an out-of-sessions hearing and was granted bail to face the court again on January 27, 2026.
