BRUNSWICK EAST, VIC. — At 4.47pm yesterday, firefighters responded to a structure fire on French Avenue, Brunswick East, after callers to triple-zero (000) reported a garage fire.
Fire Rescue Victoria (FRV) arrived on scene within six minutes to find a fire involving multiple garages.
Firefighters donned breathing apparatus to attack the fire and prevent further exposure.

Three of the four conjoined garages, on multiple properties on French Avenue and Lord Street, were impacted, but firefighters were able to prevent the fire from spreading to the fourth garage.
The scene was deemed under control at 5.14pm.
Ambulance Victoria also attended.
