Police are appealing for public assistance following a hit-and-run collision that left a pedestrian with serious injuries in North Melbourne on Thursday, April 24.
It is understood a man was walking across the intersection of Arden and Lothian streets when he was struck by a motorcycle about 4.30pm.
The pedestrian, a 55-year-old North Melbourne man, was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police were told the male rider stopped and got off his bike, but then fled north down Lothian Street.
The rider of the black and red motorbike is perceived to be Caucasian and of medium build.
He was last seen wearing black pants, a black jacket over a red top and a black helmet.
