BAYSWATER, VIC. — Homicide Squad detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a woman in Bayswater this morning.
Officers attended a property on Mountain Highway, near Dorset Road, and located the woman deceased just after 11am.
A 39-year-old Bayswater man was arrested nearby about 11.40am and is expected to be interviewed this afternoon.

It is believed the parties are known to each other.
A crime scene has been established.
An investigation remains ongoing.
