ST ALBANS, VIC. — Brimbank Crime Investigation Unit detectives are appealing for public assistance after a suspicious fire spread to a house in St Albans this morning.

Emergency services were called to the fire on Main Road and Washington Street about 6am.

Police believe an unknown offender set fire to three vehicles parked outside the property, which then spread to the house.

Six occupants were evacuated and were not physically injured.

No arrests have been made at this stage.

Investigations are ongoing.
