BALWYN NORTH, VIC. — Police are investigating after emergency services were called to reports that two cars had been set alight as the suspicious fire spread to a residence on Greythorn Road, Balwyn North, at 12.58am.
The sole occupant of the property escaped uninjured.
After Fire Rescue Victoria’s Pumper 20A arrived on scene at 12.58am, firefighters escalated the response to a second alarm at 1.02am.

A crime scene has been established whilst an investigation into the circumstances of the incident is ongoing.
