RESERVOIR, VIC. — At 10.21am yesterday, Fire Rescue Victoria (FRV) firefighters responded to a house fire on Ralph Street, Reservoir, after passengers at Reservoir railway station noticed rising columns of smoke, resulting in many calls to Triple Zero (000).

Firefighters arrived on scene within five minutes to find a two-storey apartment, in a block of townhouses just behind Love & Co real estate, up in flames.

Crews wearing breathing apparatus (BA) commenced an external attack on the fire, working to extinguish the flames and prevent the fire from spreading to adjoining apartments.
