RESERVOIR, VIC. — Homicide Squad detectives have charged a man following the death of a 53-year-old woman in Reservoir last night.
Emergency services were called to reports of a woman being struck by a car on Seston Street about 7.40pm.
The Reservoir woman was declared deceased at the scene.

Investigators arrested a 44-year-old Reservoir man at the scene, who has now been charged with one count of murder.
He will appear before the Melbourne Magistrates’ Court this afternoon.
Police understand that the parties were known to each other.
