Detectives are investigating a hit-run collision on Thomas Brunton Parade, Roxburgh Park on Saturday., July 1 about 6.50pm.
A black Volvo entered the Roxburgh Park bus terminal off Thomas Brunton Parade according to police.
Police believe the car has began to slow down when a 16-year-old girl started to cross the road at a crossing.
It is believed the car has then accelerated, hitting the girl.
The victim was knocked to the ground before the car struck the girl, fleeing the scene at speed.
The victim was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
