ST KILDA, VIC. — Port Phillip Crime Investigation Unit (CIU) detectives are appealing for public assistance following two burglaries in the same St Kilda building during the early hours of Wednesday, March 4.

Two offenders gained access to a Fitzroy Street commercial premises via a ground-floor carpark about 4am.

Once inside, the pair forced entry to two businesses, stealing documents, keys and a safe containing cash.

The offenders also stole laptops to the value of $6000.

An alarm was activated, and the pair took off.
