Two youths have been charged following an alleged armed robbery and stabbing in Tarneit on Thursday, July 27.

Detectives charged a total of three people, two 16-year-olds and a 20-year-old who was arrested last week, in relation to the alleged incident.

Investigators understand two youths were approached by seven to eight males on Bayden Powell Drive, Tarneit about 6pm.

Police allege an altercation occurred. Several youths were stabbed a number of times before the offenders left the scene.

The victims were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries while the alleged offenders were last seen in a dark-coloured vehicle.

Officers from the Westgate Alliance Taskforce executed a warrant in Weir Views on Monday and arrested two 16-year-old boys.

The two boys, one from Weir Views and one from Bellbird Park, Queensland, have since been charged with armed robbery, assault with a weapon, recklessly causing serious injury, affray, robbery and cannabis possession.

They have both been remanded to appear at a children’s court.

These latest arrests follow the arrest of a 20-year-old man last week who was also charged with similar offences.
