ASHWOOD, VIC. — Police have now arrested all five people in relation to an incident in Ashwood on Saturday, September 19, in which a police officer was struck by a stolen car.
Casey Crime Investigation Unit detectives charged three teens last week with multiple offences including home invasion, aggravated intentional exposure of a police officer to risk by driving, dangerous driving while pursued by police and assaulting police.
Detectives arrested two more teenagers yesterday and on Sunday.
A 17-year-old from the Wyndham area has been charged with home invasion, attempted home invasion, theft of a motor vehicle, and aggravated intentional exposure of a police officer to risk by driving.
A 16-year-old boy from the Casey area has been charged with home invasion, attempted home invasion, theft of a motor vehicle, and aggravated intentional exposure of a police officer to risk by driving.
They have been remanded to appear at a children’s court at a later date.
