Two more teens charged following fatal stabbing at Sunshine bus station

Detectives today arrested an 18-year-old Burnside Heights boy and a 17-year-old Caroline Springs boy. They have been charged following the fatal stabbing of 16-year-old Melton South boy Pa Sawm Lyhym in Sunshine on May 18.

Detectives today arrested an 18-year-old Burnside Heights boy and a 17-year-old Caroline Springs boy. They have been charged following the fatal stabbing of 16-year-old Melton South boy Pa Sawm Lyhym in Sunshine on May 18.

The 18-year-old has been charged with intentionally causing injury, conduct endangering serious injury, affray and possessing a prohibited weapon. He faced Melbourne Magistrates’ Court today and bailed to appear at a later date.

The 17-year-old has been charged with conduct endangering serious injury, affray and possessing a prohibited weapon. He also faced children’s court today and bailed to appear at a later date.

Two other 16-year-old boys were also injured during the incident at the Sunshine bus station, with one taken to hospital and one treated at the scene.

A 17-year-old Hillside boy was charged with murder in relation to the incident.
