Hurstbridge rail service changes

Hurstbridge.

From 8:15pm Friday, June 24 until the first Hurstbridge to Flinders St train on Monday, June 26 buses will replace trains between Clifton Hill and Macleod. A bus timetable for this and other service disruptions can be found here.

This will allow level crossing removal and construction of a rail bridge over Lower Plenty Rd, Rosanna with duplication of railway tracks between Heidelberg and Rosanna also taking place.

Also, after 8pm until last train from today June 19 to June 21 inclusive buses replace trains between Flinders St and Heidelberg as infrastructure and signalling is upgraded.

Works to remove the Grange Rd, Alphington level crossing will also be undertaken during these line closures.

Further upgrade works will see buses replace trains between 8:15pm Friday, July 14 to last service Sunday, July 16 and from midnight Friday, August 18 to last service Sunday, August 20.
