Reservoir Sporting Club has confirmed the re-appointment of senior men’s coach Justin George for the 2024 season.

This will be George’s third season at the club after joining the Mustangs at the conclusion of the 2021 season.

He helped the club break an almost five-year winning drought early in his first year at the club and has since registered four more wins during his tenure with Reservoir.

The Mustangs finished eighth on the 2023 Heidelberg Golf Club Division 3 ladder with a 2-14 record, however, they boasted their best percentage since 2019.

Reservoir also announced the signings of reserves coach Brett Walker and assistant coaches Reece Miller and Tom Service.

A club statement said:

The Reservoir Football Club is pleased to announce that Justin George has been re-appointed to the stable as our senior coach for the 2024 season.

As we continue to work to rebuild our club on and off the field, we are excited that Justin will once again head up our evolving football program.

In more uplifting news for the club, Brett Walker will take on the role of reserves coach while Tom Service will return as assistant coach, joining the senior coaching panel.

Reece Miller will continue his role as Reservoir’s midfield coach as we look to further bolster our coaching crew throughout the off-season.
