Motorcyclist dies in Healesville crash

Police are investigating a fatal collision in Healesville this (Saturday, October 6) morning.

It is believed a motorbike was travelling south along Myers Creek Road when it collided with a car travelling in the opposite direction about 10.40 am.

The yet-to-be-identified rider died at the scene.

The male driver of the car is assisting police with enquiries.

Four other occupants of the car were not injured.

The investigation remains ongoing.
