Murrindindi Shire Mayor Charlie Bisset and CEO Craig Lloyd last week held a series of productive meetings with Federal government and opposition ministers and advisers about rebuilding Kinglake, the tenth anniversary of Black Saturday and funding for rural sports.
Federal Member for Indi, Cathy McGowan provided support and her volunteers helped the Bisset and Lloyd navigate Parliament House, Canberra.
