6pm UPDATE: 89-year-old Eltham North man Bruce Clark has been found safe and well.
Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate missing 89-year-old Eltham North man Bruce Clark.
Clark was last seen by wife when he went to bed last night however it’s believed he went for a walk about 9am today, 3 February.
Bruce is quite fit for his age and often goes for early morning walks around the Eltham North neighbourhood, especially on Ryans and Weidlich roads.
Police are family are concerned that Bruce hasn’t yet returned, especially due to today’s heat.
Bruce is believed to be wearing a dark blue peaked cap, brown t-shirt, cream shorts, socks and dark sandals.
Anyone who sees Bruce or has information on his whereabouts is urged to contact Eltham Police Station on (03) 9430 4500.
