UPDATED 9.45AM: Missing Alexandra man Adam Johns found safe and well

UPDATED 9.45AM: Police have confirmed missing 31-year-old Alexandra man Adam Johns has been found safe and well.

Johns left his home on Coates Court to go for a walk about 1pm yesterday (Sunday 24 March) and has not been seen since.

It is believed he left without his phone and any belongings.

Police and family held concerns for Johns’ welfare as he has Aspergers syndrome and is visually impaired.

Adam is described as Caucasian in appearance with black hair, hazel eyes, 157cm tall with a thin build.

He was last seen wearing a purple t-shirt, black pants and boots.

Adam frequently walks around the Alexandra area and at times the vicinity of the Goulburn River between Brookes Cutting and Binns McCrae Road.

Local police with SES have searched the Alexandra area and along the river and will re-commence their search this morning.

Anyone who sights Adam or has information on his current whereabouts is urged to contact Benalla Police Station on (03) 5760 0200.
