Seymour man dies following motor scooter crash

A Seymour man has died after crashing his mobility scooter into a park bench earlier this month.

Emergency services were called to Station Street on 5 August about 11.15am.

It’s believed the 89-year-old local man was driving North West on the footpath when he collided with a public bench.

He sustained an injury to his ankle and was conveyed to a Melbourne hospital.

He passed away in hospital on 8 August.
