Shire pools open November 18

Murrindindi Shire pools open on Saturday, November 18 until Monday, March 12, 2018 (Labour Day).  Admission on the opening weekend is free of charge.

Season ticket holders are encouraged to pay for their cards to be reactivated prior to opening weekend.

Pools open when the forecasted daily maximum air temperature is 21 degrees or above.  This is determined on a location specific basis and is decided at 5pm the night before.  This does not affect morning laps or private bookings.

Opening hours:
During school term
(Monday 20 November – Thursday 21 December 2017 and from 29 January – Friday 9 March 2018)

  • Monday to Friday 3pm – 6pm
During Weekends, Public Holidays & School Holidays:
  • 1pm  – 6pm (closed Christmas Day)
Morning Swimming

Alexandra:                   Monday, Wednesday and Friday; 6am – 8:30am

Eildon:                         Monday, Wednesday and Friday; 6.30am – 8:30am

Marysville:                   Monday, Wednesday and Friday; 8am – 9:30am

Yea:                             Monday, Wednesday and Friday; 7am – 9am

Night Pool

Night pool will occur on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights only. The pool may reopen or remain open on hot nights at the discretion of the Facility Supervisor.  The decision will be made 30 minutes before closing time and will be dependent upon air temperature and patron numbers.

The pools will close on weekdays at 6pm to allow for the handover of responsibilities from Council to private community groups, such as Swim Club.

Community groups are advised that all pools are now available for booking by groups for the 2017/2018 season.

Swimming Pool Season Tickets

Season tickets for the 2017/2018 swimming pool season are now on sale at the Alexandra and Yea Council offices.  Seasons tickets are not available for purchase at swimming pools.

Season Ticket Prices:

Family (2 adults, 1 or more children)                         $156

Family concession* (1 adult, 2 or more children)    $130

Family concession* (1 adult, 1 child)                          $ 81

Adult                                                                                  $ 75

Adult Concession* / Junior                                            $ 52

Daily Admission Prices:
