Police detectives are appealing for information after locating several stolen four wheel drive vehicles in dense bushland on a property at Tallarook.
Mitchell Crime Investigation Unit located four late-model stolen 4wd vehicles on a Leahys Road property Saturday morning (yesterday) after a neighbour contacted police.
The vehicles were all reported stolen over the past ten months, with two vehicles stolen from Kilmore, one from Donnybrook and one from Upper Plenty.
Other partially stripped vehicles were also found on the unoccupied property.
Investigators believe the unknown offenders have been attending the location to remove parts from the vehicles, attempting to hide the vehicles by covering them with branches.
Anyone with information about the vehicles or anyone who may have seen anything suspicious in the area is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or submit a confidential crime report at www.crimestoppersvic.com.au.
