ST HELENS PLAINS, VIC. — Emergency services were called to Horsham-Lubeck Road after a passerby noticed the crashed motorcycle at about 2.15pm yesterday. A motorcyclist died at the scene.
A search of the area located the rider down a steep embankment and partially submerged in water.
Sadly, the man, believed to be in his 40s, from the Horsham area, died at the scene.

The time of the collision is unclear, but investigators believe the rider lost control and left the roadway, crashing metres down the embankment.
Horsham Highway Patrol are investigating the circumstances surrounding the collision and will prepare a report for the Coroner.
