DRUNG, VIC. — A 23-year-old woman was caught driving almost 80km/h over the speed limit in Drung, near Horsham, yesterday morning after police officers on patrol spotted a Mercedes SUV being driven erratically eastbound along the Western Highway at about 1am.

The officers intercepted the Melbourne-bound vehicle after registering an alleged speed of 178km/h in a 100km/h zone.
