RESERVOIR, VIC. — Former Mernda football player David Hutchinson on Monday, June 15 at 9.53pm published on the Reservoir 3073 Facebook group that: “Heavy police presence off Cramer Street. Ashley Geelan has barricaded themselves inside one of the buildings. Unsure what the latest update is as police would not share it.
“I’ll stick around for a little longer to see if they manage to get him out,” former Mernda footballer David Hutchinson’s post stated.
This is factually incorrect and could be considered harassment and stalking.
At the time, the editor of VicNews, Ashley Geelan, was in bed, at his Reservoir home address, watching YouTube videos with his partner. Ashley Geelan was in no way involved in this incident, nor was Geelan even present as a journalist; he was at home, in bed, watching You Tube videos selected by his partner.
“Geelan was not involved in this incident,” a Victoria Police spokesperson confirmed yesterday.
“If you publish that I will go to police for defamation bitch. I post factual stuff. Not like your made up poorly worded news site nerd. Trust you to dig up old information stalking dickhead, back to your old ways typical.

Upon being discovered, David Hutchinson suddenly changed his mind. He was now Joshua Smith.

“Work may take what your report seriously and fire him,” former Mernda footballer David Hutchinson said in a Facebook message when called out for his defamation and outright, blatant lies.
This was followed by several ‘Vader voice’ voice messages via Facebook Messenger and a woman calling from a blocked telephone number, claiming to be David Hutchinson.
“I made mistake signing up with wrong name,” former Mernda footballer David Hutchinson claimed.
“I don’t know where you are getting this David Hutchinson from, my name is Joshua. Please call me by my actual name idiot. You lack intellect clearly.
“If you continue to go after my friend, I will triangulate on you and extract as much legal information and return the favour ass wipe,” former Mernda footballer David Hutchinson said.
“Ps – Isn’t Ashley a girls name? Do you have mangina or vagina?” former Mernda footballer David Hutchinson asked via Facebook Messenger.
