Indi included in redistribution of federal electoral divisions

The Australian Electoral Commission (AEC) proposes changes to the Federal electorate of Indi, currently held by independent Cathy McGowan, including removing the eastern section of Moira Shire in a redistribution of Commonwealth electoral divisions.

Parts of Strathbogie Shire, including Euroa and Violet Town may be included in the revised Indi electorate.

Individuals and organisations can make written objections that must be lodged by 6 p.m. on Friday, May 4 with comments on objections to be lodged by 6 p.m. Friday, May 18.

All objections and comments will be published on the website at www.aec.gov.au.

A final determination of the boundaries and names of the electoral divisions will be published on Friday, July 13. Make a submission online here
