BENTLEIGH, VIC. — Leader of the Opposition (LNP) Jess Wilson’s bus crashed into a jewellery store on the first day of her campaign. This follows Jess Wilson being over an hour late to a press conference that she herself had called, which she rapidly fled in less than five minutes when she realised that she had invited journalists, not just the ones from Victoria’s MSM newsrooms with their pre-prepared and approved questions to ask her, from their editorial bosses.
Today, it’s her campaign ‘Jess Express’ bus crashing. Yesterday, it was her fleeing a press conference that she herself called when she realised that she hadn’t only invited ‘friendly’ media, but independent journalists too. She then fled that presser faster than US Republicans are fleeing Trump and MAGA.
It wasn’t “Labor’s potholes” that brought the bus undone.
Arriving at Centre Road, Bentleigh, for a street walk with Liberal candidate Tynan Putt, the bus was attempting to back into a parking spot when it struck the awning of a jewellery store, damaging the structure. The store was closed at the time.
The bus escaped major damage with only minor scratches visible.
Undeterred by the awning mishap, Ms Wilson quickly moved on, taking to the streets to chat with local residents in the electorate, including Sven Koernig.
It has been revealed that Ms Wilson’s husband, Aaron Lane, was a Liberal Party upper house candidate in 2014, but resigned in disgrace for his homophobic slurs just hours before the Liberal Party would have likely disendorsed him anyway in a few hours.
Then, there’s Jess Wilson’s father, Ronald ‘Ron’ Wilson, at her wedding wearing none other than a MAGA baseball cap.
Ms Wilson claims to not be “One Nation”, but the facts speak differently. She married a man who was running for a Liberal Party seat in 2014, who was forced to resign just hours before he was likely disendorsed, and possibly his membership of the Liberal Party was terminated too.
It all points to Jess Wilson, in reality, being no different to Pauline Hanson and One Nation, except that Jess Wilson is better at hiding her direct MAGA-loving, homophobic affiliations with her husband and her Liberal Party MAGA-loving father.
