Shire to suspend standing orders to acknowledge community contribution of Ray ‘Wrinkles’ Bartlam

Murrindindi Shire Council will next Wednesday, 25 September suspend standing orders to acknowledge over three decades of volunteer service to the Kinglake community by Mr Ray 'Wrinkles' Bartlam.

Mr Bartlam – currenty of Flowerdale and formerly of Kinglake – has served as Kinglake Football and Netball Club trainer since club reformation in 1990. He is also the former 1st Kinglake Scout leader of over 20 years and also served on the Kinglake Memorial Oval Grounds Committee for many years.


“[I am] honoured, but do not like all the fuss,” Mr Bartlam told Kinglake Ranges News.


Mr Bartlam also featured last month on ABC Radio Victoria’s Coodabeen Champions as he – and his magic hands – step down as KFNC head trainer.

September’s general council meeting is scheduled to start at 6 m, Wednesday 25 September at Yea council chambers.

Congratulations Mr Ray Bartlam on a well-deserved and hard-earned acknowledgment.
