VICTORIA — All local “Mum and Dad” or ‘community’ businesses throughout currently affected bushfire regions and those of Black Saturday (2009) and Black Summer (2019-20) qualify for up to $2000 of free advertising.
The offer is available throughout 2026 to all business owners in the municipalities of Mansfield, Mitchell, Murrindindi, Nillumbik, Strathbogie, Whittlesea, Otway Ranges and the Yarra Ranges or any other community going through floods or fires.
Over 7,000 people more a month read VicNews than any other local news website, according to the statistics site, SimilarWeb.
The packages are free without any contractual obligations.

You can choose whether it’s a business card on the side panels of VicNews or an ad on the homepage. More people in Murrindindi, Mitchell, Nillumbik, Darebin, Merri-Bek and Banyule council areas read VicNews than any other news site.
We’ve been reporting on the district since 1992.
