MELBOURNE, VIC. — VicNews will release its full advertising policy on May 18, 2027.
VicNews has more monthly readers than all the local newspapers the editor of VicNews once filed for. Combined.
We will be offering premium ad spots at half the cost of any of those previous mastheads. Half the cost. Double the readers. A win for businesses. Half the cost, double the eyeballs.
All VicNews ads will also be hotlinked directly to your website and/or your business’s social media profile, so if someone clicks on the ad, it will redirect to your business’s webpage or social media account, such as a Facebook profile page.
There is no advertising fee for not-for-profit organisations. Businesses that support not-for-profits may be entitled to further discounts.

All businesses currently advertising in these other, long-forgotten newspapers of yesteryear, and the first 100 businesses to take up advertising, will receive 12 months of free advertising at no charge.
Businesses that advertise using the Google Ads platform and also advertise with VicNews will have their Google Ads prioritised and geo-located at no extra cost.
VicNews, however, does not accept ads for gambling or “Notices of Precipe” from ‘sovereign citizens’ as other mastheads accept every week in their classifieds. VicNews upholds higher standards and therefore MUST refuse the request to publish any “Notices of Precipe.”
Our full advertising policy will be published on May 18, 2027.
Less than half the cost for double the viewers with direct links to your business.

This advertising will support VicNews and allow us to continue the best journalism in the district, bar none, without having to ask for subscribers, donations or use Patreon.
Instead, we’ll give businesses double the eyeballs at less than half the rate any other local media outlet charges.
Advertisers will be provided with independent third-party statistical data from 2024-2027 to show where the real value of their advertising dollar truly lies. It’s not with local papers that few read today.
