Steve Martin, the Liberal Party candidate for Indi, is a local and a widely respected member of the community.
Steve and his family love to camp, run, bike and ski in this beautiful region. His family are actively involved in a range of community groups including schools, sports clubs, business groups, charities and church groups. Being active and engaged in the community is important to Steve and his family.
Steve has worked as an engineering project manager for over 15 years in both the public and the private sector. During this period Steve has helped deliver major ports, highways, rail and manufacturing projects, as well as road and building upgrades.
He is proud to have worked locally as part of the team delivering the $50 million Mars Petcare project in Wodonga as well as the Flood Recovery Works across the North East.
Steve, his wife Annabel, and their young family moved to Wodonga after Annabel finished medical school.
They have four young children; Isabelle, Sophia, Sammy and Eve. Annabel now practices as a Nephrologist at Albury Wodonga Health and runs a clinic for the Albury Wodonga Aboriginal Health Service.
Steve is passionate about the region he and his family call home and looks forward to advocating for small business, stronger families and a prosperous North Eastern Victoria.
