Murrindindi Shire is changing the name of Local Law Officers to Community Safety Officers and rolling out new community safety vehicles.
” … They have had a makeover! Murrindindi Shire Council’s ‘Local Laws’ Unit has been renamed the ‘Community Safety’ Unit to better reflect the work this team does,” a shire media release states.
The re-named Community Safety Officers will continue to deliver domestic animal management, permit issuing and fire prevention activities.
“Keep your eyes out for our new Community Safety vehicles and don’t forget to say ‘hi’ if you see one of our Community Safety Team out and about.”
