Shire replaces ‘Local Laws’ officers with ‘Community Safety’ officers

Murrindindi Shire is changing the name of Local Law Officers to Community Safety Officers and rolling out new community safety vehicles.

” … They have had a makeover!  Murrindindi Shire Council’s ‘Local Laws’ Unit has been renamed the ‘Community Safety’ Unit to better reflect the work this team does,” a shire media release states.

The re-named Community Safety Officers will continue to deliver domestic animal management, permit issuing and fire prevention activities.
