Victoria Police have charged an unnamed 40-year-old acting sergeant from Victoria’s Southern Region. He has been charged with misconduct of a public official following an internal investigation.
The charges relate to an incident that occurred between 2017 and 2020, while the member was on and off duty.
He has been charged with two counts of misconduct of a public official and will appear before a Magistrates’ Court at a later date.
