Recognisable from Alexandra Football/Netball Club as the 2017 A grade netball coach, Latoya Wards has moved to Kinglake for 2018 and will coach B grade netball and play in Kinglake’s A grade side.
Wards has played in the AFL Yarra Ranges for the past 2 years and had the opportunity to represent the league in the 2017 interleague team, making the AFL Yarra Range’s second division team of the year.
Wards has previously played in the Goulburn Valley Football/Netball League (GVFNL), Ovens and King Football/Netball League (O&KFNL), Australian University Games, Melbourne Premier League Division One and continues to play in the Northern Football Netball League (NFNL) in divisions one and two.
Wards has a wide range experience in coaching from primary school tournaments across all grades as well as taking her University to the Nationals in both mixed and women’s netball.
Ward aims to focus on improving players individually and introduce new drills and systems to help Kinglake go one step further in 2018.
