Community website drop-in sessions

Are you part of a community group, sporting club or association? Or are you holding an event in Murrindindi Shire? Council is holding five drop-in sessions to step you through the process of creating a free listing on our website events calendar and community directory.

Council’s website links to the Australian Tourism Data Warehouse, which means when you list your event, it not only appears on Council’s website, but also on multiple other event websites and Kinglake Ranges News events page.

And the easy to use community directory allows groups to maintain their own information, providing a great source of up to date information for the community, particularly new residents to the Shire.

Council officers will also be on hand at the drop-in sessions to assist existing users with refresher training, or to answer any questions that you may have.

If you would like to create a listing at one of the sessions, please come along prepared with the information you would like to include in the listing and a USB with some photos.

For more information please contact Council’s Online and Social Media Coordinator, Trudi Elkington on 03 5772 0313 or via email at telkington@murrindindi.vic.gov.au.
