Police are investigating a fatal collision in Loch, on the South Gippsland Highway at about 2.20pm.
It is understood by police that a car driving on the South Gippsland Highway left the road and crashed into a tree where it caught fire near the intersection of Loch-Poowong Road,
The driver, a male who is yet to be formally identified, died at the scene
Investigators are working to establish the exact circumstances of the collision. Investigations remain ongoing.
