A woman has died following a car crash into Donnellys Creek, Toombon about 10.20am this morning.
Officers were told a car travelling along Donnellys Creek Road left the roadway and veered off a cliff.
Two vehicle occupants, a man and a woman, were assisted out of the creek by nearby witnesses and were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the car, a woman who is yet to be formally identified, died at the scene.
The circumstances surrounding the crash are yet to be established and the investigation remains ongoing.
