
MILDURA, VIC. — Mildura Divisional Response Unit detectives, with the support of the Australian Border Force (ABF), have arrested a 33-year-old Mildura woman on Friday morning as part of a multi-agency ongoing investigation into the importation of drugs bound for Mildura.
She was interviewed and been charged with the Commonwealth offence of importing a marketable quantity of a border-controlled substance.
Police will allege the woman attempted to import approximately 500ml of 1.4 Butanediol, which was intercepted at Melbourne Airport on June 20.
The Mildura woman was remanded to appear before the Mildura Magistrates’ Court on December 16.
