A 17-year-old girl is in custody following a collision in an allegedly stolen Mercedes sedan on City Road, Southbank just prior to 10.30pm.

Police were called to a collision where the allegedly stolen silver Mercedes sedan crashed into another vehicle, pushing it into a business shop front on City Road

It’s understood the Mercedes was also involved in a police car ramming in Hughesdale just hours prior, after crashing into a bus on North Road at about 9pm.

The female driver failed to stop and reversed into a police vehicle while fleeing the scene.

A second collision with the vehicle was reported in Murrumbeena, where it crashed into a fence on Gerald Street.

A 17-year-old Ballarat girl was taken to hospital under police guard.

No one was injured as a result of the incidents.

The Mercedes is believed to have been stolen during an aggravated burglary in Berwick on Monday.

Moorabbin Crime Investigation Unit detectives are investigating.
