DANDENONG, VIC. — Police have arrested four offenders after multiple attempted robberies involving a stolen car in Greater Dandenong.
Police believe three offenders attended a business on Heatherton Road, Dandenong at about 11.50am on September 16.
Two offenders exited a vehicle, brandished a knife and demanded cash from a victim before fleeing in a stolen Mitsubishi.
Six offenders then attended a service station on Cheltenham Road, Keysborough at about 2am this morning, September 17, and the offenders stole items from the store before being confronted by a witness and removed from the store.
The offenders then attempted to force entry to the service station multiple times before fleeing.
Approximately 10 minutes later, officers observed the stolen Mitsubishi Outlander driving erratically in Noble Park North before stopping at a service station on Police Road, Mulgrave.
Police were immediately on scene and disturbed the offenders committing an attempted armed robbery, arresting two offenders.
Four other offenders fled in the stolen vehicle, which collided with a pole nearby in Springvale.
Officers searched the area and located two other offenders.
Police believe the vehicle was stolen from a gym in Springvale on Monday, September 14.
The offenders, a 14-year-old boy and 12-year-old girl from Greater Dandenong, as well as two 18-year-olds from Springvale and Narre Warren, will be interviewed by detectives.
An investigation is ongoing to determine the identity of the two outstanding offenders.
