Boroondara detectives are investigating after a man performed a lewd act at Whitehorse Road, Balwyn laundrette on Friday, July 21.
A man entered a Whitehorse Road laundrette and performed the alleged lewd act about 9.50am.
There was no one inside the business at the time of the incident.
Investigators believe the man was aware of the camera as he appeared to look at the camera and smile before exposing himself.
The man is perceived to be Caucasian in appearance, aged in his late-30s to early-40s, with a thin build and poorly dyed blond/orange hair.
He was wearing a red and blue hoodie, blue jeans and fluorescent yellow runners.
