Homicide Squad detectives are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the deaths of two people in Rye. The search continues to locate a gunman who fled the scene.
Police are yet to determine the exact circumstances, however, police believe a man and a woman attended the address before becoming involved in an altercation.
A male resident of the property and a female who attended the property were both found with gunshot wounds and died at the scene.
The deceased male is believed to be a 29-year-old Rye man while the deceased woman is yet to be formally identified.
Police believe the parties involved were known to each other.
