BACCHUS MARSH, VIC. — Homicide Squad detectives charged 75-year-old Bacchus Marsh man George Paraskevas yesterday following the death of a woman in Bacchus Marsh earlier this week.
He faced court via video link overnight and did not apply for bail. He will return to court for a committal hearing on November 23.
The charge follows an incident where emergency services were called to reports a woman had been located deceased inside a property in Connor Street about 3.30am on Wednesday, August 26.
A 41-year-old woman from Bacchus Marsh was located deceased at the scene.
Police will allege the parties involved were known to each other.
