DANDENONG NORTH, VIC. — A man is on the run after crashing a car into a house in Melbourne’s east and allegedly stabbing an occupant in what police believe was a targeted attack, ABC News reports.
“Police said the man had also allegedly stabbed a person at a different property several hours before the incident, at Dandenong North.
“Victoria Police said a silver Honda CRV was deliberately crashed into a property in Exner Street, Dandenong North, about 10:15am.
“The male driver got out of the vehicle and stabbed the female occupant of the house, who police said was known to the man.
“The women suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was treated at the scene before being taken to hospital.
“The alleged offender fled the scene on foot and is yet to be caught.
“He is described as African in appearance and was dressed in a brown shirt and black pants.
“Victoria Police advised people not to approach the man and to contact police if they see him.
“Police said the man also stabbed another man at a property in Bradman Terrace, Epping, about 7:30am.
“Police said the victim at Epping, who suffered non-life-threatening injuries, was also known to the man.
“Victoria Police urged anyone who sees the assailant to call Triple Zero (000).”
