Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives are investigating after a man died in hospital following a crash in Wantirna South on Tuesday afternoon.
It’s believed the vehicle was traveling on Stud Road when it crashed into a concrete pole just after 1.30pm on Tuesday, March 25.
The driver, a 66-year-old Bayswater woman, was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

Her passenger, a 73-year-old Bayswater man, sustained critical injuries and was transported to hospital. He sadly passed away Wednesday morning.
A second passenger, a 68-year-old Bayswater woman, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was also transported to hospital.
Detectives continue to investigate.
