TULLAMARINE, VIC. — A Melbourne to Sydney Singapore Airlines flight made an emergency landing at Tullamarine Airport late this afternoon.
Singapore Airlines flight, a Boeing 777, suffered landing gear issues after take-off. The flight circled Wallan to burn and dump aviation fuel before returning to Tullamarine, making an emergency landing with faulty landing gear.
There were inbound and outbound flight delays as runways were switched to allow the emergency landing.
The flight landed safely.
Emergency services were not required.
